Welcome to the Victoria Veterinary clinics website. Victoria was established in 1992 by Dr Ken Thorley, an Australian vet who has made Hong Kong his home. Our clinics at Yuen Long, Tuen Mun and Sheung Shui have been providing professional veterinary services to the pets living in the New Territories ever since. Dr Gerry Pahl joined him in 1997, and became a partner in 2004.

Our team includes a surgeon, ER staff, vets with post-graduate training in medicine and dentistry, and extensive facilities: we are very well equipped with digital radiography, diagnostic ultrasound with doppler, ventilator, Cardell multi-parameter monitor, Nellcor pulse oximetry, Parks BP Doppler, Panoptic, Tonopen, Vetscan in-house biochemistry, IDEXX Lasercyte Hematology, piped oxygen cages, infusion pumps, iM3 Dental machine, electrosurgical unit, flexible fibreoptic scopes (bronchoscope and gastroduodenoscope), full orthopedic and spinal equipment, and full practice computerisation. We are fully stocked with a wide range of the latest drugs. Over 17 years we have developed a reputation for high-quality medicine and complex surgery. Several of our staff have college memberships or post-graduate degrees in medicine & surgery and we place a high emphasis on continuing professional development. We have a highly motivated and dynamic team of post-graduate trained vets and trained nurses. The staff are very friendly and our administration is efficient.

The opening of our 24 Hour emergency Hospital in September 2007 has enabled Victoria to provide critical care to pets, 24/7. This emergency hospital, based in Yuen Long, is the first of is kind in the New Territories.
